A Big Kennel!

My fears were unfounded. The Kennel has been a great success. No one has been offended. Some “dogs” have even thanked me for compliments in their description. Lots of dogs who don’t live in the kennel, have dropped in for a look. Some have even asked to be inducted into the kennel!

We now have 15 dogs: Kelpie, Snowdog, Spaniel, Dachshund, Basenji, Whippet, Bulldog, Stray, Greyhound, Collie, Husky, Snoopy, Poodle, Malty and Sheepdog. Here are a few more descriptions:

Malty is a very patient dog. She is also very talented. Malty can fix the photo-copier for Dachshund, prepare a prac for Basenji, and help Pyre play with fire, all at the same time. To perform such magic, Malty keeps fit by going to the Gym, drinking green tea, and eating lots of vegetables. Perhaps she should be called Super Malty?

Sheepdog is often seen skirting around the kennel. He occasionally nips at the heels of the more well bred dogs. Sheepdog is good at keeping his flock of sheep in order. He has shown promise in many sports, but is jealous of other sporting dogs such as Greyhound, Snowdog and Whippet.

Dachshund is named for his frantic morning dash to the photo-copier. He is a master of this technology. Dachshund is always fearful of meeting Snowdog who will raise his blood pressure with Collingwood taunts. Dachshund is very proud of finding Snowdog’s lost bone (stapler). A very old dog who has already lost most of his fur.
