I think, therefore I am

This quote is generally attributed to Rene Descartes, the great French Mathematician. To solve Maths problems you need to think, so I have started a new student problem solving blog to encourage my students, and students anywhere in the world, to improve their problem solving ability.

To become a good problem solver – you need to solve problems. So cruise over to  I think and take up the challenge. Can you get into the Hall of Fame?

I have been teaching Mathematics in Victorian secondary schools for 30 years. I use the www to make my maths lessons better. I hope this blog will give other teachers some ideas to try in their own classes.
